About ZRIN

Master goldsmith Stjepan did not find it easy to reach the poor Croatian citizen, but he began to dream, to make jewelry that took the breath away, and out of that came something like magic. Standing at the hot goldsmith's furnaces and the sleepless nights spent designing and hand-making masterpieces in gold found their way to an Austrian and German audience. As always happens with persistent, gifted craftsmen — and with people in general — his work was recognised, and with that our story began.

Our jewelry spread across Europe. Vienna and Berlin shone with irresistible gold that had come out of a small workshop in the west of Zagreb, but it was only at the start of the new millennium that we managed to take the next step. Another dream was realised. Nikola, the son of our skilled and persistent master, made the creations born in our workshop available to the people of Croatia too — he opened the first retail space, your ZRIN salon and ours. It is the opening of that space in the capital that we are particularly proud of, because it meant we had understood what our fellow citizens needed and found the way to the hearts of those who today wear our jewelry with such pleasure.

New life was breathed into ZRIN then. We began to grow, slowly but surely, and we can say with pride that we have built a warm, creative working atmosphere in which we are thriving. We celebrate gold and platinum with every piece we make, and we find irresistible gemstones to give them a mark of their own. Alongside the best technology in the world, which we use in making jewelry from gold and platinum, we keep alive the traditional skills and tools of the craft, passed down from one generation to the next.
