Certified diamonds
When buying an engagement ring with a diamond (from 0.06 ct upwards), the most important thing to receive as proof of authenticity is an international certificate from a diamond grading institute recognised worldwide.
Every certificate carries its own code (report number), and it is unique, because every diamond is unique — no two diamonds share a code.
