Wedding ring buying guide
Choosing the perfect wedding rings is not a decision to take lightly. This is not only a question of style but of the deep emotional meaning behind the choice. It is a sacred act that stands for love, commitment and the beginning of a new chapter shared together. Every wedding ring carries powerful emotional weight, holding the story of love and permanence you begin to write with that fateful yes.
Wedding rings are a sign of commitment and love that you will wear on your hand for good. In this guide we will show you the details — small ones, at first glance — that are worth thinking about when choosing rings that will reflect your connection exactly and stand for the life you will share.
How do you reconcile your tastes and wishes when choosing the perfect wedding rings?
Choosing the perfect wedding ring calls for careful collaboration between you and the person you love. It is not only a question of style but of a deep connection and mutual understanding — and of compromise. There are many different styles of ring, many materials and many designs. What matters is reconciling your aesthetics so as to find common ground and, in the end, to choose rings that both of you love.
The style of the wedding rings
Think about the style of ring that best suits your personalities. Do you prefer a classic, timeless look, or a modern and singular design? In choosing wedding rings you enter a world of varied styles reflecting the personality and taste of each couple. Classic rings emphasise the timeless beauty of simplicity, while rings with a modern minimalism bring out clean lines and subtle detail. For added elegance, rings set with gems such as diamonds or Swarovski zircons offer a radiant shine.
The material of the wedding rings
In the world of wedding preparations, choosing the right wedding ring marks a significant turning point. Let us explore the fascinating world of materials — white, yellow and red gold. Through their particular characteristics, these metals become spokesmen for love and lasting commitment, each telling a story of its own.
White gold: a symbol of modern elegance
White gold, with its contemporary and elegant look, is an increasingly popular choice among couples who value sophistication. Its bright white color makes a perfect background for diamonds or other gems, giving the ring a further measure of luxury. Beyond that, white gold is known for its durability, which makes it ideal for a ring that will grace your fingers for many years.
Yellow gold: classic beauty that never goes out of fashion
Yellow gold, a classic choice standing for warmth and timeless beauty, gives your wedding rings the chance to carry tradition. This golden tone brings warmth and appeal to a ring, which makes it exceptionally popular among couples who value a classic, timeless look.
Red gold: romantic eccentricity
If you want to express your love in a slightly different way, red gold is a choice that draws the eye with its romantic tone. This precious metal brings a measure of eccentricity to a wedding ring, making it particular and memorable. The romance that comes with red gold often appeals to couples who value a singular and distinctive look.
The size of the wedding ring
For the most accurate measurement of the size your future wedding rings need, it would be best to visit our salon together. If that is not possible, we will send a single-use ring sizer to your address so you can measure your finger yourselves.
Every ring from ZRIN is our own production, which means we make all our rings to measure in every size, so every model is always available. If we do not have the model you are looking for in stock at our salon, it takes 7 to 10 days to make.
If the wedding ring size you bought does not fit, we make completely new rings to measure, free of charge. So you can be sure you have received new rings, you keep the ones you bought until the new ones are ready.
There is no deadline for a size exchange.
It is worth knowing that at ZRIN we never enlarge or reduce a ring, which is to say we do not cut it, because doing so compromises the quality of the ring itself.
Choosing the gemstone
In choosing wedding rings, beyond the material of the rings themselves you can also choose among a range of gemstones to bring them further to life. At ZRIN we offer a range of options, including classic diamonds, Swarovski zircons and lab-created diamonds.
Diamond
Diamonds have always carried meaning as an indispensable symbol of elegance and love. The gem not only radiates endless beauty but carries a deeply rooted meaning with it. With its undeniable brilliance and clarity, the diamond makes a remarkable addition to wedding rings. Its durability symbolises the permanence of love. Diamonds also come in a range of sizes, that is carat weights, giving you the chance to personalise the ring to your taste.
Swarovski zircon
Swarovski zircons, produced using the finest technology, are exceptionally close to diamonds in their transparency and brilliance. Their high quality makes them a perfect choice for couples who want a radiant, sophisticated look at a price more accessible than a diamond's. Their durability and their resistance to scratching make them a practical choice for everyday wear, which keeps the shine of your wedding ring lasting.
Lab-grown diamond
Lab-grown diamonds, created under controlled high-technology conditions, share the same chemical and physical structure as natural diamonds. They also often offer greater clarity and quality at a lower price than natural diamonds of the same class, and are considered the more ethical option. With a lab-grown diamond you have the chance of a luxurious-looking wedding ring without the high cost.
The design of the wedding ring
Classic design
Simple lines and a traditional look are ideal for anyone who values timeless elegance. Gold wedding rings without a gemstone are a common choice in this category.
Modern design
For anyone who prefers a contemporary look in keeping with current trends, modern ring designs with unusual shapes and inventive settings are an excellent choice.
Free laser engraving. The engraving is our small gift to you with the wedding rings you buy. You can choose the lettering yourself. Besides letters and numbers, symbols such as ❤, ∞, ² are also possible.

The history of wedding rings: a lasting symbol of love
The wedding ring, a symbol of lasting love and commitment, has deep roots going back thousands of years. The practice of wearing a ring as a sign of marital connection draws its roots from ancient civilisations such as Egypt, where rings of reed or grass were used as a symbol of endlessness and eternity.
The Romans were the first to introduce the practice of wearing the ring on the fourth finger of the left hand, believing that the finger held the 'vena amoris', or 'vein of love', connected directly to the heart. Other cultures took up the custom, shaping a tradition that has held through the centuries.
Medieval Europe added an aesthetic element to the ring, decorating them with gemstones and symbols. Over time rings evolved, but the symbolism of love, devotion and permanence remained unchanged.
Today wedding rings carry the powerful symbolism of each couple's singular love story. Whatever the shape, the material or the design, rings remain a lasting reminder of a promise of enduring love, which makes them an indispensable part of every wedding ceremony. Whichever design you choose, your wedding rings become an indelible trace of the singular story of your love. Let every gleam of the ring and its gemstones, every ornament and every detail be a reminder of the promise you made to one another, and make your love last.
We look forward to making your special moments more beautiful.

Perfect gift
One of the best-known sayings in the world holds that as long as there is love, there will be a world for us to live in, the world we know. We are made with a great deal of love; we come into the world while our parents await us with impatience and a love beyond describing; we give our children and the people we love a love we could never have imagined existed; we give gifts to those we love, value and respect on the most important days of their lives; and in the end we decide to spend a life and share our love with the one person we love.
